VietnamDocs was built out of personal experience. Navigating the immigration process between Vietnam and the United States is genuinely difficult β not because the rules are impossible, but because the information is scattered, often in English only, and frequently outdated.
We went through the process ourselves: getting married in Vietnam, filing the I-130, waiting, gathering documents, dealing with birth certificates that had wrong dates, helping family members apply for tourist visas, and preparing for the citizenship interview. Along the way, we created documents, templates, and guides that we wished had existed when we started.
VietnamDocs is our way of sharing those resources with the broader Vietnamese-American community.
All documents and guides on VietnamDocs are free. We are supported by advertising revenue, which allows us to keep the site running and continue adding content.
We update our content regularly to reflect changes in immigration law, USCIS processing times, and Vietnamese government requirements.
VietnamDocs provides general information and document templates for educational purposes only. We are not a law firm and nothing on this site constitutes legal advice. Immigration law is complex and individual circumstances vary. For complex situations, please consult a licensed immigration attorney.
